A traditional Chinese culture teacher should lead by example and possess high moral character, letting go of greed, anger, ignorance, arrogance, and doubt while cultivating kindness, patience, and tolerance. They should deeply understand classical texts, be well-versed in the Four Books and Five Classics, and master the art of teaching according to students’ abilities, inspiring independent thinking. Teaching should be based on love and patience, avoiding rote learning while respecting students’ individuality and dignity. Additionally, teachers should be gentle, kind, humble, and respectful, practising thrift and humility. They must uphold the teacher’s moral code and pass on the wisdom of the sages. Only by cultivating personal virtue can they truly promote and preserve Chinese traditional culture for the benefit of society.
