Dr. Wu Nianbo (CEO)

Dr. Wu is a distinguished entrepreneur, cultural advocate, and educational leader whose career spans over three decades of impactful contributions to industry, society, and global cultural exchange. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Suzhou Good-ark Electronics Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise he established in 1990 that has grown into one of China’s foremost electronics sector companies, recognised for its innovation and commitment to ethical business practices.
He holds an Associate Degree in Radio Engineering from Suzhou Vocational University and a Master’s in Business Administration focusing on Decision-Making Management from the Far Eastern Institute of Advanced Studies in the United States. He further advanced his academic journey by earning a Master of Philosophy from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom. He was later awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Commercial Science by St. Thomas Aquinas College in the United States, acknowledging his exceptional leadership and service.
Beyond his entrepreneurial achievements, Dr. Wu is an active public servant and advocate for community development. He has served as Vice Chairman of the Suzhou Municipal Welfare Foundation for Disabled Persons and as a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th and 14th Suzhou Municipal People’s Congress. He was also the Deputy Chairman of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association from 2006 to 2016. His leadership has been instrumental in promoting social welfare and public policy development at the municipal level.
Dr. Wu is also renowned for his dedication to traditional Chinese culture and moral education. Since 2013, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Han Studies (MAHANS), where he has played a central role in promoting Confucian values and moral education in Malaysia and beyond. He was a key speaker for the “Happy Enterprise Workshop” from 2015 to 2019, sharing insights on creating harmonious workplaces grounded in ethical principles. His cultural influence extends further as the Executive Vice President of the Chinese Civilisation and Heritage Federation under the Yan Huang Culture Research Association and as an Honorary Advisor at the Institute of Higher Humanities of Peking University.
Internationally, Dr. Wu has delivered keynote speeches at prestigious forums such as the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, the Pontifical Academy of Sciences at the Vatican, the Religions for Peace International Forum in Rome, and the UN Global Compact’s Korea-Japan-China Round Table Conference on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS). His voice has contributed to global ethics, sustainability, and cross-cultural understanding dialogues.
In recognition of his innovations and leadership, Dr. Wu has received numerous awards, including the Jiangsu Province Outstanding Patent Inventor Award (2011), the National Science and Technology Innovation Entrepreneur Award (2012), the Outstanding Entrepreneur of China’s Electronics Industry Award (2012), and the Suzhou Mayor’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award (2012). These accolades reflect his lifelong commitment to integrating scientific advancement with moral values and humanistic ideals.

Song Poh Lan (Acting CEO & Principal)

Mdm Song currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors, Director, and Head of the Chinese Faculty at Mahans International School, showcasing her extensive leadership in cultural education. She earned her Master’s degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and holds a professional certificate in copyediting from the University of California, San Diego, reflecting her academic strength and linguistic expertise. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the University of Help, further enhancing her professional capacity in educational leadership and organisational development.
She has actively promoted traditional Chinese education and culture throughout her distinguished career. As an Administrator and Honorary Secretary at Amitabha Buddhist Society Malaysia, she significantly expanded the society’s infrastructure. She initiated impactful classical Chinese reading movements, enhancing community engagement by training teachers and organising cultural activities. Her international experience includes coordinating and moderating significant interfaith and artistic forums, such as UNESCO celebrations in Paris, interfaith summits in Australia and Malaysia, TEDx events, and dialogues at the Vatican.
Additionally, Mdm Song is an accomplished translator and editor, contributing notably to publications like The Sayings of Master Chin Kung, The Governing Principles of Ancient China, and Buddhism 360, facilitating cultural dialogue worldwide. At Mahans International School, she has adeptly navigated operational challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, consistently promoting a multicultural, ethically grounded educational environment. Her efforts are directed toward nurturing global awareness and intercultural understanding among educators and students.

Ng Yin Ming (Head of Operations & Administration)

Brief Biography:
Mdm Ng is an accomplished education administrator and operations strategist with over three decades of diverse professional experience spanning information technology, business operations, and academic leadership. Currently serving as the Principal of MAHANS International Primary School in Melaka and the Head of Operations Support & Administration at Malaysian Han Studies, she has been instrumental in establishing and expanding educational institutions, including the founding of MAHANS International School and a preschool under Malaysian Han Studies. Her earlier leadership roles included general manager at IMEC Education and senior administrative appointments at Country Heights Holdings Berhad, where she led special international assignments and strategic IT initiatives.
Her academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (International Business) from the University of Southern Queensland, a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Open University Malaysia, and a Montessori Pedagogy Diploma from London’s Montessori Centre International. She is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) at HELP University and a Master of Science in Psychology at the University of Essex Online. Her career highlights reflect a strong commitment to operational excellence, educational innovation, and quality management systems. These include successfully obtaining ISO9001 certification, implementing e-document systems, and establishing data centres and telecommunications infrastructure locally and internationally.
Passionate about lifelong learning and leadership development, Mdm Ng holds multiple certifications in project management, training, IT systems, and corporate governance. Her vision is to leverage her knowledge and experience to advance educational standards and foster the next generation of academic leaders.

Chin Poh Mui (Vice Head of Academic Affairs)

Ms Chin is the vice head of international student affairs, academic affairs administrator, and CEO of the office secretary at Malaysian Han Studies. She has a strong background in academic operations and public relations, so she is key in coordinating student services and supporting institutional management. She holds a Bachelor’s (Honours) in Computing from the University of London. She has accumulated over three years of teaching experience in Traditional Chinese Core Values, reflecting her dedication to cultural education. Chin Poh Mui is also currently pursuing a Master’s in Education Management and Leadership at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UNITAR), further advancing her expertise in educational administration and leadership.
