Mahans Leadership Academy

Malaysian Han Studies (or Mahans) has been around since 2009, and in 2016 it acquired a new site in Bukit Katil, Melaka.

Ever since its inauguration, Mahans has steadily reached out to many people teaching traditional ancient wisdom from the Sages. It holds regular classes both in Mandarin and English, and in more than 15 years, thousands have walked through its doors, and have transformed lives. Many participants return several times to further deepen their knowledge of the Ancients

In Feb 2026, Mahans celebrated its 10-Year Anniversary @ Bukit Katil site, and is groomed for further growth the next 10-Years. Four years ago, it decided to start an International School, to further expand on our beloved founder’s Master Chin Kung vision to
“Revive the teaching of the ancient sages, that our society may be saved, then our planet will be saved. If this education be spread to the whole world, society will be stable, society will be peaceful, and people will be happy.”
Today the International School caters for EC1-3, P1-11 (Primary and Secondary), and have close to 100 students. This is our 2nd pillar of education targeted at school going children. The unique offering blends ancient teachings for EC1-3, and dedicated traditional classes for P1-6 students.2

This month, July 2026, Mahans has received approval for our 3rd pillar of teaching avenue. The approval allows Mahans to offer training and development courses, claimable through the Malaysian Government Scheme called Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC), a compulsory vehicle mandated by Government.

In order to promote training and development, all organizations are mandated by law to contribute monthly 1% of employee salaries equivalent to the Fund. Then each organization will plan its needs and draws from the Fund, with selected training providers.

With this fresh approval, we are able to set-up the 3rd Education Pillar, and this comes under Mahans Leadership Academy (or MLA), which distinguishes subject matter relevant to local organizations.

For this new stream we can develop curriculum from the best of both worlds – proven best practices of running organizations effectively and supported strongly with Ancient Wisdom drawn from Happy Enterprise Models and Governing Principles of Ancient China.

We are grateful for this opportunity to reach out again to another segment of the public, especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s), with very affordable fees. The SME market is a good start with basic Leadership Skills and added Traditional Teachings.

This new avenue will be chargeable to participating organizations and able to generate revenue stream and classes expected to start in Jan 2027. Meanwhile branding and marketing efforts will begin immediately and will be considered small pilot’s programs.

We are very grateful to our internal and facilitator resources to support this endeavor, as many come from corporate sectors before.

With this new additional avenue, Mahans will have 3 Educational Pillars as follows :
This will be a new offering and all 3 Pillars are synergistically connected to reach out to the masses to revive The Ancient Teaching as the bedrock for human nurturing and cultivation.
We are excited to move forward together.

Launch Day Preview

On launch day, we will offer audience a flavor of what is in the offering by MLA – Mahans Leadership Academy. These are 1-hour previews.

Preview 1 – The BIG 5 all leaders need to know.

This is basic 101 leadership, but we realize while it is 101, but many seasoned players fail to harness the BIG 5.
Today most are bottom line driven, and so Goals and Strategies become 99% of focus, but most forget the “WHY” of an organization.
Hence, Vision and Values lay the path of the WHY, and Values are key to Culture. Leaders Create Culture.
And Mission is what we are doing TODAY – why are we here right now.
Vision, Values and Mission are the heart and brains of the organization. While Goals and Strategy are the arms and legs that bring us there to the desired destination.
So, the BIG 5 needs a revival, and values systems will tie in to Mahans Culture and Values Teachings.

Preview 2 – After the GOAL, then what?

Goals must be 100% followed by EXECUTION excellence. The topic of execution was elevated in 2002, when many Fortune leaders were sacked for poor bottom lines

Execution has since been researched and studied for last 20 years and today we have narrowed to 4 basic disciplines.

And secondly, organizations have not allowed front lines the skill and authority to serve the customer directly. There are too many levels to navigate before the customer is served effectively.
So, we need to master the execution process better. Execution may be seen as simple not is not simplistic – that is the tagline. There are more than the eye can see.
