“Without Learning, One Remains Unaware” — A Life Preparatory Program for High School Graduates
As students approach or complete their high school journey, families naturally wonder about the next steps, and young graduates reflect deeply on their future paths. Why not use this transitional period well by joining a Life Preparatory Program at the Malaysian Han Studies — a unique opportunity to experience the wisdom of a life rooted in traditional Chinese culture?
Since 2018, five cohorts of high school graduates have participated in this enriching traditional culture program. Throughout the course, students will:
- Explore the timeless insights from ancient Chinese classics and their relevance to modern life.
- Learn how to read and appreciate classical texts,
- Deepen their understanding of core virtues such as filial piety, brotherhood, loyalty, trustworthiness, benevolence, righteousness, propriety, and wisdom.
In addition to academic learning, students will engage in daily practices such as cleaning, etiquette, and teamwork. Working alongside teachers, classmates, and senior students, they will realise that success in life is not built on knowledge alone but also on the ability to nurture harmonious human relationships, leading to a future blessed with mentors and helping hands.
The sixth cohort will continue this tradition, learning within an environment steeped in the profound 5,000-year heritage of Chinese culture.
